It also ranks among the top ten decorative coatings in the world and has manufacturing activities in Australia, New Zealand, Oman, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Fiji, Mauritius, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Bangladesh, Egypt and Caribbean.

Gujarat Organics was formed in December 1978 to make an entry into speciality chemical manufacturing of intermediates for Pharmaceutials, Foods & Cosmetics, Agro Chemicals & Dyes.The Corporate office is situated in the heart of Mumbai at Worli while Plant is situated at Ankleshwar, Gujarat State in India. Ankleshwar is one of the biggest industrial estates in Asia. The plant is about 300 kms. away from Mumbai, off the main National Highway, directly connected through rail, road, very near to port, domestic and international airport. It is one of the Largest Manufacturers of Para Hydroxy Benzoic Acid and its derivatives namely Parabens. The effectiveness of parabens and their formulations as biocides is measured by inhouse microbiological laboratory, in various applications in food, pharmaceuticals & cosmetics.

Company is engaged in the field of nano technology to enhance the efficacy and catalytic performance capabilities of its biocides, namely parabens.
